Miss Ohio Outstanding Teen Scholarship Program

Dear Prospective Contestant:

The Miss Ohio Outstanding Teen Scholarship Organization would like to welcome you as a contestant to our 2008 Scholarship Pageant on FRIDAY, JUNE 20, 2008.  This year’s pageant will be held at the RENAISSANCE THEATER in MANSFIELD, Ohio during MISS OHIO WEEK.  A mandatory orientation will be announced. The winner of the competition will be crowned Miss Ohio Outstanding Teen and  win scholarships for your education and have the opportunity to compete at the 2008 Miss America Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageant August-2008 in Orlando, Florida and win over $30,000 in scholarships.

Contestants may apply to participate in Miss Ohio Outstanding Teen pageant based on the following eligibility criteria:

1.      A contestant must be 13 years of age on date of the pageant.

2.      A contestant may be 17 and a Junior on the date of the national pageant.

3.      A contestant may NOT be 17 and eligible to compete in the Miss America Program.

Our scholarship program consists of (5) phases of competition:

A.    Private Interview (30%

B.     TALENT (35%)

C.     EVENING WEAR (15%)

D.. LIFESTYLE AND FITNESS IN SPORTSWEAR (10%)

E. ON STAGE-QUESTION (5%)

F. SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT (5%)

TOTAL- 100%

THE TALENT PRESENTATION MAY NOT EXCEED 2 MINUTES.

CONTESTANTS SHOULD PROVIDE 2 COPIES OF HER MUSIC

ACCOMPANIMENT(IF APPLICABLE) AT ORIENTATION.

PLEASE FILL ALL FORMS ON CHECKLIST ENCLOSED.

Please return the forms and entry fee of $410 as soon as possible as we can only allow the first 25  contestants to enter.  In addition you must also supply the following at time of entry:

Bustline photo  (wallet size)

Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Drivers License

Enclosed Talent Information form-(FIRST ONE IN HAS FIRST

CHOICE OF TALENT).
